What i learned in New Works in 11-4-2011

     Mr.Richards and the class moved on to the next art which is lines and rythim. We were talking about how are lines significant in every art: dance, music, visual, and theater.We were doing monologs to represnt the rythim of the line and how it has its up and dows. Amaris played the piano and explained how it makes the sound , the sound is made because a little hammer hits the strings and make a vibration .We learned too that in the piano the thicker the strings the softer the sound and vice-versa. We were talking about the harp and how old is the instrument and how unique it was and how was it played. One manolog was about an old teacher flipping two grades to the wrong person. The old teacher gave the girl that messauged his back a better grade the principal found out and he was fired. All this things and laughter made that afternoon in New Works the best of few that we've had yet.

The movement was shownm dancing and doing combinations and learning to follow the movement of your body.The movement in you is created by the soul you have in you no matter what is your passion or cluster or even if you dont dance. You always will have your own type of movement and it can be done in any form you decide.

About Myself

 My name is Beatriz Adriana Ruiz and i am 14 years old i am an incoming freshman to Booker T Washington High School For Performing And Visual Arts.I am a quiet girl with lots to give to everybody . I love to dance that is my greatest passion thus Dance is my cluster. One of my favorite subjects i love to learn is science , but you will see me reading about astronomy or animal books. I can divide my life in three Dance,Animals,and Astronomy. These subjects make me who i am today other than my lovely family. I like helping others and i am great contributor in group work and a very nice person you can be with. I am very delighted to be able to share my thoughts and interests with everyone.
